Our Story 

Liorose® Blooms & Gifting is a conscious art & floral design atelier; Our company is a testament to the transformative power of beauty, born from a personal journey, rooted in a search for purpose, healing and rediscovery. Our foundation was laid in 2021, but it was in 2023 that Liorose® truly blossomed, shaped by profound life transitions and spiritual awakening.

Towards the end of 2019, I left a thriving corporate career feeling the pull for something deeper, more authentic, beyond the role of an academic, money-driven, asset-accumulating, and aggressive corporate professional the world had expected me to be. I took a courageous leap without a clear plan, seeking to rediscover the true me. Soon after, I fell pregnant with my first child. Then COVID-19 struck, bringing months of isolation from loved ones. My experience of childbirth was deeply impacted by pandemic restrictions. I had to give birth as a first-time mother in isolation, even away from the maternity ward due to hospital policies at the time, but I got through this thanks to the compassionate care of the nurse attending to me. My husband was only able to physically meet our child for the first time, many months later due to differing country lockdowns.

Facing economic uncertainty, raising a child without the immediate support of a partner or village, ongoing pandemic isolation, and a lack of clarity about my purpose, or how life would unfold, I gradually sank into a state of depression. It took me time to acknowledge it, compounded by postnatal challenges. Yet, when the world began to open up a bit, I was able to reconnect with my spiritual Centre. It was in this space, where I was helping create beautiful floral arrangements for weekly Hours of Worship, that complete bliss and healing found me again. This joyful service to The Lord, coupled with the boundless love and light brought by my daughter Liora whose name means “The Lord’s gift of Light to us”, nurtured my spirit back to life.

This profound experience shaped Liorose® (a fusion of ‘Love’ and ‘Light’), embodying our mission to spread love, light, and joy to humanity through creative expression. Liorose® Blooms & Gifting was birthed first and foremost to help others heal, whether they are recipients of a floral arrangement or piece of art that uplifts their environment, or creators themselves of their own pieces. I started this business to live out part of my true calling and service to mankind, whilst inspiring others to do the same.

Our distinctive logo, where the ‘O’s are represented as roses made from heart shapes, serves as a constant reminder of the passion and intention behind every single creation. At Liorose®, we believe that floral artistry has the power to transform environments and enrich lives. Our approach goes beyond simply arranging flowers; we integrate coaching, spirituality, and artistic expression to inspire healing and awaken individuals to their true inner being and life’s purpose.
